One of the most important and biggest problems in the world is the global warming, but we dont give a lot of importance. Constantly we put trash in the street and people say us "don't do it" but we told them not to give relevance. at the same time we know that the glaciers are breaking up, the animals are dieing, the plants are in fire and the paramos are drying . it's just a matter of time until we don't have a lot of Water, or we consider starting use surgical mask to protect us of all the pollution in the air. a lot of people say but hey, what are you going to do ?, and think that there' s nothing to do. But we need to be more considerate and serious with our planet, we have to protect and prefer to begin a change from ourselves and in our houses, cause if we don't do something nobody is going to do a change for us .
I agree that the biggest problem is this, in this situation I am realistic and I know that the damage we have caused to the planet is not going to be able to be completely repaired, but I do know that the situation of the planet can be improved if each person is responsible for their actions and if we know how to take advantage of all the resources that the planet gives us, because if we continue like this the planet will end faster than we expect.
One of the biggest social problems are the international conflicts and wars. this conflicts have always been with humans,because since the beginnig of our history as specie,we have been figthing for things like,get more territory,more food, or things like that,just to prove that we are better than the rest.And this are things are happening today but the reasons increase in number and its consequences are worse,some of these reason are the rivalries between countries to show who is the best of all,and to prove it,they start to forcefully claim more territory from other countries,and this the only thing that it does is add fuel to the fire,because,it starts wars between the countries just for that territory,or only to the the resources from that place.Another point could be the competition to see who is more advanced when we are talking about technology,beacuse there is competition in the commercial area to see what country do better cellphones or consoles,but there are to advanced technology for guns,bombs and more only to prove that its country is the most powerful or stronger.For me the only way to stop this is to stop to find the way to stop to being competitive,because that feeling is creating more deaths,pain and fear between us,and in that way we are diging our own grave.

Well, first of all, I have to say that the world is full of social and economic problems, but the biggest problem that exists in the earth is called GLOBAL WARMING, but is not only an environmental problem, besides that the economy is taking us to the self-destruction.
Currently, we are depending of coal and oil, but those resources are very contaminant, besides that, those resources are not infinite, so, it is just a matter of time that oil and coal run out. We are forgetting that we can inveast more money in agriculture, or in renewable energies, but we are filling the world of CO2 and many chemicals that are harmful for us, for the animals, for plants among others.
This problem has started getting to me since I was a child because I watched the TV and I watched a lot of problems related to, so, that affected to me a lot, my outlook is so negative because we are not doing anything to heal the world, or conservate it. But I am hopeful that we will save the world IF WE PROPOSE IT. If you want to help to save the world, for example you can take a cold water shower. There are people that tell me, oh! I detest taking a cold water shower, it is very cold, that kind of people is a pain in the neck. Other thing that you can do could be eat less animal flesh, that is the main cause of deforestation, I know that is delicious but we should left. I wil keep mentioning that we can do little actions to save the world, we need to be conscious.

In my opinion, social inequality represent the most concerning problem in the world. Social inequality refers to all the processes that have as a consequence, the exclusion or limitation of an specific group or social class. Social inequality include differences in access to education and health care, income level, work quality, voting rights, freedom of speech, housing and environmental quality, among many other variables. As an example, data from Inequality Watch ONG show that the three most wealthy men in USA (Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet) own more than the total wealth of the poorest 50% of US-American. Besides, in Colombia, the situation does not look better: in some places, children are starving to death, while our President Duque lend his private plane to carry all his guests to a private party... that really took the cake!. That make me feel like if Colombians were just sitting ducks for our politicians.
Unfortunately, in relation with social inequality I have a pessimistic outlook, because I do not think these kind of problems have a simple answer; however, I strongly believe that the first step to diminish the social disparities is securing access to high equality education for children, no matter their income level. For the government (and even for private initiatives) it's a good time to begin with some plans about it. At leat, in this way and in a long-term, these children will have an excellent tool for improving their life quality for themselves.
The biggest social problem is the INTOLERANCE. The intolerance is the act of disrespect the way of thinking, behavior, religion or anything that the person believes or does. My outlook with this social problem is that in a future this problem will continue happening, the people nowadays believe that they are bad boys and nobody can't touch them but the society doesn't work of this way.

Indifference I think indifference is not the biggest social problem humanity is living right now but it doesn't mean that it isn't a big problem or that it isn’t even a problem; it is, and the worst thing about this problem is that it unchains some of the most important problems we're living in the moment, problems such as global warming, insafety, wars, hunger, poverty... . Indifference makes us become individualist people, and it isn't something bad until we take it to extreme, because when that happens we only care about our own good in such a level that we don't even care about the others or take them into account. The education is a big problem right now, millions of students have bad education due to government, teenagers of low resources don't have opportunities for study, so they decide to work without any knowledge. Education is one of the most influential factors in the advance and progress of people and society. Also to provide knowledge, education enriches the culture, spirit, values, and everything that makes us being humans.
Education is necessary in all senses, to achieve better levels of social comfort and economic increase, to accede to better employments, to extend the opportunities of teenagers and improve science, technology, and innovation. Lack of support from the government to the public sectors, the money that is destined to study is low.
Another big problem is the structure of education, the educative system is created for people who have weaknesses in the study. Each year more than 300 thousand students are graduated but don't have opportunities for access to the high school, What is your opinion? I think that a good idea could be that Colombia follows the model of Finland, Sweden or Germany, countries where education is alternative, there doesn't have a system but a plan that is adapted to the necessities of each person.

As we know, nowadays exist many portals of information. For example TV, radio, social media, news paper, etc. These allow us to be informed about the situations that occurs everyday. As usual we have some news more important than others. One strategy to manipulate is distract, it consist in divert public attention from major issues. A recent example is the purchase of votes of our president Iván Duque and the firts case of corona virus in Colombia, all the news channel talk about the Corona Virus and put aside the case of Iván Duque, another strategy it is create problems to them offer solutions, for example on the curfew nigth, which was live Bogotá last year, there is evidence of police brided homeless people to try get into apartaments but the media showed the police like hero when they caused the problem. Noam Chomsky create more estrategies, but in my opinion those are the most used to manipulate. To end we need to create a own criterion and not stay with what the TV says.
The companies use to publish comercials that have much discrimination, for example a Brand that sells clothes show us a whitw Men wearing expensive shoes whereas another comercial set a black man in a street with some poverty. Those companies are selling us stereotypes and we dont notice the offense it represents. Many campaigns like #orgullosamenteindio have been created and no one is paying enough attention, we let políticians like Trump insult us and we cant let this problem continue or there will be a huge problem. We live in one of the most inequality country around the world, for this reason in our society we can find a different issues, depend of the area that you are, you can see that. However the social inequality produces the classism, which is one of the main problems also social inequality, can emerge through a society's understanding of gender roles, that at this moment gender feminine suffer, or through of social stereotyping, similarly this occur to racial inequality and wealth inequality. If you think about it, this is a big topic because it's present in different communities or social situation. ReplyDeleteEducation is necessary in all senses, to achieve better levels of social comfort and economic increase, to accede to better employments, to extend the opportunities of teenagers and improve science, technology, and innovation. Lack of support from the government to the public sectors, the money that is destined to study is low.
Another big problem is the structure of education, the educative system is created for people who have weaknesses in the study. Each year more than 300 thousand students are graduated but don't have opportunities for access to the high school, What is your opinion? I think that a good idea could be that Colombia follows the model of Finland, Sweden or Germany, countries where education is alternative, there doesn't have a system but a plan that is adapted to the necessities of each person.

The education is a controversial topic nowadays because this resource not have it every world, for that reason I think that is essential to give importance to this topic by the government, if everyone will have education, the society will improve in development and sustainability.

I agree, you have a good point of view, nowdays the education has been a big social problem because some students don´t have the enough resources to have a great education for a good grade in the icfes exam or even in the school, if they graduate from school when they are in the university their basses from schools wont be enough to learn, but if the State is more interested in education the society will be better

ReplyDeleteI think the biggest problem in the society is the inequality, beacuse throught the years this problem has caused many conflicts, also has casued that human only thinks in him or herself, that's bad beacuse the human has to work as a team we have to think in the people who Is around us, if in the future the inequality is bigger than now, we'll probably lose the communication between us.
But the inequality is not only between humans, the inequality also Is the money, many people around the world is very poor and don't have the enough resources to have a good life, but the inequality un this case Is un the people who Is rich and have the money and the don't help other.
The inequality is in Colombia and this is evident because are people who stoles other, people who can help others and they don't only because they are selfish.

ReplyDeleteAs we know, nowadays exist many portals of information. For example TV, radio, social media, news paper, etc. These allow us to be informed about the situations that occurs everyday. As usual we have some news more important than others. One strategy to manipulate is distract, it consist in divert public attention from major issues. A recent example is the purchase of votes of our president Iván Duque and the firts case of corona virus in Colombia, all the news channel talk about the Corona Virus and put aside the case of Iván Duque, another strategy it is create problems to them offer solutions, for example on the curfew nigth, which was live Bogotá last year, there is evidence of police brided homeless people to try get into apartaments but the media showed the police like hero when they caused the problem. Noam Chomsky create more estrategies, but in my opinion those are the most used to manipulate. To end we need to create a own criterion and not stay with what the TV says.

The companies use to publish comercials that have much discrimination, for example a Brand that sells clothes show us a whitw Men wearing expensive shoes whereas another comercial set a black man in a street with some poverty. Those companies are selling us stereotypes and we dont notice the offense it represents. Many campaigns like #orgullosamenteindio have been created and no one is paying enough attention, we let políticians like Trump insult us and we cant let this problem continue or there will be a huge problem.

Social inequality
ReplyDeleteWe live in one of the most inequality country around the world, for this reason in our society we can find a different issues, depend of the area that you are, you can see that. However the social inequality produces the classism, which is one of the main problems also social inequality, can emerge through a society's understanding of gender roles, that at this moment gender feminine suffer, or through of social stereotyping, similarly this occur to racial inequality and wealth inequality. If you think about it, this is a big topic because it's present in different communities or social situation. Making an analysis to explain social inequality is to blame the society for creates the social stereotyping as well as the government, the bourgeoisie or the ruling class of this country. We finding the difficult access to higher education or to a good system health. In the same way the lack of opportunities for improve your class social or to increase your skills or participation in the society. I consider that we need to do the change for not follow in someone’s footsteps, digging around equality in all situations in the world and the society to try to resolve this and leaving inequality aside.

I think the biggest social problem is the corruption because the politicians are affecting the country. but not only Colombia they are affecting the entire world, they are stealing the money that can help poor people around the world, also this money can help to build houses for people which does not have where to live.
ReplyDeleteAnother problem is that they are always lying and hiding all the problems that the country has, and they are saying that the country is good and the population should not have to be sacred that all is good.
In my opinion i think that when we are choosing for the president we have to choose the correct people for a good guide, for example in many countries presidents are saying that the coronavirus is not dangerous and the population will be good and saved, i think the have to say the truth to be saved
